I am a writer, web designer, cultural manager, and communications strategist who lives and works on the ancient, unceded, and occupied territories of the Coast Salish peoples of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
I mostly work with the non-profit sectors of arts & culture, healthcare, and government relations. I’ve served the Canada Coucil for the Arts, the BC Arts Council, and the National Network of Legals Clinics for the Arts.
One of my most interesting and beloved adventures was to serve as the general manager of the legendary Storm Crow Tavern and Storm Crow Alehouse in their earliest days. I helped to shape the culture, voice and brand of these amazing nerd bars. May they rest in peace.
In 2010 I founded Real Vancouver, a registered non-profit literary arts society dedicated to promoting emerging and established writers from Vancouver and beyond.
